My Review

When I first received this camera I was impressed with the feel of it. The body is small and comfortable to hold with controls at your finger tips. Since I am familiar with what the controls do, it was easy to adjust to them.

When I started shooting I would say 7 out of 10 were blurry and unusable. Changing lenses and settings made no difference. It turned out to be how I clicked the shutter button. I was jerking it, I started to practice a steady squeeze pressure and after some practice I get quality clear photos.

I kept this camera as a back up and find myself using it more because of the ease of controls and auto focus.

The d5200 specs are good enough to take professional photos. While the camera is a great starter to learn on as well.

The d5200 has more pixels and a fancier Auto Focus system then the D5100. The D5300 adds Wi Fi and GPS to the d5200.
