This book is an excellent source of information. It tells about the religion and it’s spells, What it is to be Wicca and the responsibilities that come with it. You will learn what spells are and the difference between Wicca and witches.
You will learn the connection between humans and nature. This union is a harmonious one when you are practicing Wicca correctly. Wicca goes back a thousand years when witches were being burned. Much information about this religion was lost then and this book touches most of what is available. Most of the available religious information was saved by the few that went underground to protect themselves.
This religion is on the rebound with over one million Wiccans practicing today.
This book was informative and easy to read. It left me a little unclear on the difference between Wicca and witches. It explained the “Known History”, and the “Wheel of the Year: Sabats and Esbats” with their significance very well. It touches on what magic and spells are. How we are connected to the earth spiritually.
If you are a beginning Wicca or someone of another religion trying to understand Wicca. This book gives good explanations of the Wicca religion. I make it out as an excellent beginners guide that points you into directions of your interest.
